Lighting
At Marquees Direct, we have a variety of lighting options to compliment our marquees and accessories.
Our marquee collection includes our standard lighting which are chandeliers, globe lights and up lighters. Our more luxurious range are pin-spots, leds, fairy lights and lanterns, We have black and ivory starlight roofs as well as organza lighting. We also provide led lights which are also available with dmx control units for special lighting effects. There are other lighting accessories including trussing, mirror balls and dimmer controls. We are always adding new lighting options so if your event calls for subtle highlights or stunning effects, we can help.
Our standard lights are chandeliers and globes lights.
Marquee chandelier
Our chandeliers come standard (without the holly in the picture and are finished in ivory. They are 5-arm, 300 watts and can be used with or without a dimmer control. We usually recommend they are installed every 6m to 9m along the marquee depending on the width of the marquee. This is one of the most cost effective lighting hire options there are.
Marquee Globe lights
Our marquee globe lights are available in sets of 8 or sets of 4 and include 40 watt bulbs. They are hung around the outside of the lower lining roof (as in image of ivory starlight roof). A set of 8 globe lights spans approximately 12m to 15m and a set of 4 globe lights approximately 6m to 9m. They will provide sufficient lighting if hung around half of the marquee but many events have them all the way around with a dimmer control.
Marquee uplighters
Our Marquee uplighters have a 80 watt bulb and can be linked up around the outside of the marquee. We recommend using them every 3m to 6m around the outside of the marquee but can be set up to suit the client.
They are also available with coloured gells to create a subtle glow.
Marquee with Fairy light wave
Available in a choice of colours including warm white, icewhite, amber, pink, blue, green and even multi-coloured. The fairy light wave may be set up over the whole marquee or in sections like the photo.

Marquee with Ivory and Black starlight
This Marquee includes alternate black and ivory starlight roof with matching dancefloor and lining walls.
Starlights can be also be provided singular as black or as ivory. They can cover the whole marquee or just the dancefloor or however you wish.
Marquee with Fairy light curtain
The fairy light curtain is available in warm white, ice white, blue and pink. It can be hung as in the photo on the gable end or even hung at wall height for amazing effects.
The photo also includes a black and white dancefloor, ivory and black starlights with the star lights switched down to low twinkle.
Marquee with paper lanterns and led lights
At Marquees Direct we have created a truly breath taking Marquee lighting theme, our colour changing LED Lanterns with remote control.
You can transform a standard white lantern into Pink, Blue, Purple, Yellow, Orange, Green, or Red with one click on the remote control or alternatively set the remote on to automatic colour changing.
These beautiful Lanterns add a truly magical and mystical feel to your Marquee Hire. There really is no limit with your imagination. You can have a few lanterns over your dancefloor or cover the entire marquee roof with these magical balls of LED light.

Marquee with Fairy light canopy
Our marquee fairy light canopy makes a beautiful centre piece and is often used over dancefloors or as a centre point to the marquee. The lights are available in warm white, ice white, amber, pink, blue, green and even multi-coloured. The photo includes ivory roof linings and blackout walls. When coloured lights are used it reflects a hint of the colour over the marquee giving a lovely ambient effect. The fairy light canopy can be installed in both narrow and wide strands.
Marquee with Purple / Lilac effect led lighting
This marquee also includes a white dancefloor, ivory and black starlight roof which is faded down. The led lighting can be set to virtually any colour or multicolour, or colour changing.
We can even supply controllers where you can set and change scenes for different times of the day.
Marquee with coloured led Pinspots
At Marquees Direct we can offer you a huge range of exciting interiors to transform your Marquee Hire. With colour LED Pin spots you can direct coloured LED light on to dancefloors, tables, bars, furniture and truly set off these areas.
The LED Pin spots are suspended from the Marquee roof they sit in a bank of six lights and can colour change or be set static on a colour of your choice.
These coloured Pin spots are perfect for all Marquee Party’s big or small these lights will really create the perfect party atmosphere.

Marquee with pink hipend fairy light canopy and pink led lights
Our hipend canopy is a reccomended choice for decorating one or two end of the marquee with lighting. The photo uses pink fairly lights but it is also available in warm white, ice white, amber, blue, green and even multi-coloured.
The photo also includes led lights which are programmed to pink but these can also be set to any colour.
Marquee with organza fairy light curtains and xmas tree
Our organza fairy light curtains can be hired to go over the top of our standard linings or without linings behind them.
They are only available for walls at the moment but are a lovely effect when accompanied by starlight roof. The organza is white and also works well over clear pvc.
Black 3d fairy light star with blue lights
Our black fairy light stars are available with blue or white lights. Our smaller version is 53cm approx and suitable for 6m or 9m wide marquees. Our medium size is 85cm and is suitable for 12m wide marquees or larger. The blue lights create a more ambient glow and the white lights are very bright.
White 3d fairy light star with white lights
Our white fairy light stars are available with white or blue lights. Our 53cm smaller version is best suited for 6m and 9m wide marquees.
Our 85cm medium size is used on 12m wide marquees and larger. The white lights are very bright and the blue lights create more of an ambient glow.
