Marquee Foreman – Specification
The ideal person will have proven experience as a Marquee Foreman, and in the Marquee Hire Industry. The position will suit someone that is methodical, accurate and that can work under their own initiative to get a job done. Essential a clean current UK driving license and 7.5 tonne license preferred.
1. Manage team of Marquee Technicians and Yard and Maintenance Persons and ensure that all procedures are being followed, deadlines are met and health and safety rules are being observed. Be their first point of contact for any queries/personnel issues/complaints. This should include regular catch up sessions.
2. Ensure all vehicles are loaded correctly before leaving to go to job. Responsibility lies with job foreman.
3. Manage staff on site – delegate tasks to ensure efficient and professional set up/take down.
4. Motivate staff to work efficiently and keep a positive attitude.
5. Liaise with client on site and ensure payment received before leaving
6. Ensure proper preparation has been done before leaving job – i.e. liaise with Managers to make sure invoices, maps etc ready, call customer to let them know we are leaving, ensure any tolls have been paid such as congestions charge.
7. Liaise with office when out on job if late or held up to keep everyone informed.
8. Install/dismantle marquees and deliver relevant accessories.
9. Be part of an ‘on call’ rota with other foremen for emergencies.
10. Ensure all equipment is cleaned properly before leaving site and all equipment is collected and accounted for before leaving site.
11. Make sure vehicles are parked properly and speed restrictions observed.
12. Make sure all equipment and vehicles are treated with respect at all staff.
13. Ensure job is completed to company standard and customer is satisfied before leaving site (job checklist to be completed for all jobs)
14. Taking on additional responsibilities such as refurbishing equipment, cleaning, re-organising etc in quieter periods.
15. Assisting other team members when appropriate for the benefit of the company.
16. Opportunity to train for professional qualification.
17. Report directly to the Company Directors
Marquee Technician – Specification
The ideal person will have proven experience working as a Marquee Technician on 3m, 6m, 9m marquee equipment essential and 12m marquee equipment preferred. The position will suit someone that is methodical, accurate and that can work under their own initiative to get a job done. Essential a clean current UK driving license and 7.5 tonn license preferred.

Business Development Executive - Specification
Excellent opportunity – New role working for a family run marquee company providing the highest quality marquees. The ideal person will have experience working in the Marquee/Hospitality Industry. Proven track record in proactive selling. Keen, enthusiastic with a passion for what they do. Confident, get excited about work and enjoy what they do. Excellent organisational and Communication skills, including a good attention to detail. The role is primarily office based, you will be required to visit new customers.
Role: Reporting to Project Director
Proactive development of new business
Maintaining clients relationships with new customers
Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines & use own initiative
Targeted tele-sales campaigns to increase business
Proactive telemarketing our existing customer accounts and finding new contacts within these customers to ensure the maximum business opportunity is secured

Person:

Sales Administration – Specification
Role: Answering telephone calls internal and external, in a professional efficient, positive manner
Liaising with Customers
Producing and sending quotes
Supporting and working effectively with Business Development Executive
Fast and accurate data input
And ad hoc administration as required
Assisting other team members when appropriate for the benefit of the company
Excellent Computer skills
Skills: Excellent people / telephone skills – warm, professional and confident manner
Microsoft office – Outlook, Excel and Word, Databases (TSS Database Preferred) or equivalent
Able to work under pressure
Proven organisational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task
Excellent attention to detail
The role requires a good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, fast and accurate data input, preferred knowledge on TSS database system, previous knowledge on databases essential.
